Haven't you heard, good skin is always in!
I invite you to join my tribe of empowered women everywhere. As super woman Gregg Renfrew would say it, our mission is to "get safer products into the hands of everyone."
It wasn’t long ago, that I too, was in the same place as you. Completely unaware of the ingredients that were in the products I was using for my skin care and makeup. When I first started using daily makeup in high school, I had no idea what I was doing. Being that I was still a young teen, I bought the cheapest makeup I could find at Walgreens and Duane Reade. It’s no surprise now that it was the makeup I was using that made my skin prone to acne and breakouts. I was literally clogging my pores with all the chemicals and toxic ingredients listed on the labels that I never bothered to read. I mean, I clearly wasn’t educated on this subject so, nor was I concerned.
Did you know that the "federal cosmetic regulations have not been updated in the United States since 1938," according an article by Katherine Martinko.
It’s wild to think that in this day and age, the United States is still behind many countries when it comes to the beauty industry. As a matter of fact, the “European Union has spent the past two decades restricting or banning approximately 1,400 Harmful chemicals and ingredients from personal care products. In Canada, the number of restricted ingredients is a little less than half that, at around 600. The United States? 30.” This was information that was published in an article by BeautyCounter which you can read by clicking here. So what does that mean for us, the consumers that live in the United States. Well, for me personally, it makes me feel super skeptical of our government and concerned for the health of our nation. Women in particular because we are the largest consumers of these beauty products and skin care regimens. It wasn’t until I started doing my own research to find better and safer products that my skin improved tremendously!

"Our Clean Promise: Over 1500 questionable ingredients are never used in our formulations." - BeautyCounter
BeautyCounter isn’t just a business opportunity, it’s a movement. Like many of us, I want to know that I am purchasing safe products that aren’t toxic and overfilled with dangerous chemicals. Like many of us, I want to be an educated consumer that understands what I am putting onto my body and how it will affect me in the future. And like many of us, I want to help build a future that is booming with educated strong business women that are focused on bettering themselves and our society as a whole. As boss ladies paving the way for a better and safer world, we are the leaders who care for our people and future generations. Let’s take action together and fight for a more conscious world that gives a DAMN! All women should feel confident and beautiful in their skin, confidence is what gives us our power and charm. Confidence starts with #betterbeauty skin-care essentials, it’s a way of life.

Clean beauty, make it your business.
BeautyCounter is an amazing opportunity to build a financially rewarding business while making a massive social impact on our future generations. With over 80,000 chemicals on the market today, many don’t have trust in the safety of our products. We owe it to ourselves to stand up for what we believe in and choose to educate ourselves and our fellow humans. As a woman-led company, BeautyCounter is constantly changing the beauty industry and setting new quality standards. More importantly, when creating BeautyCounter, Gregg Renfrew sought to empower women everywhere. Not only did she want women to feel confident in the safety of their beauty products but, she wanted to create a business opportunity for women to feel empowered as #BossLadies. With one mission in mind, to get safer products into the hands of everyone, let’s do this together!
